The Last Tease

When I’m sitting in my corner I hear
Whispers fleeting ever after don’t speak
Too loud he might hear you then we can not
Play our little game fuck his emotion
Little whispers in my corner spread to
Edges of my vision as I walk past
Growing silent till they think I won’t
Hear the laughing and the mocking of me

Explosion in the corner can they see
Me weeping hidden in the shadows paced
By steady breathing underneath it all
World is spiraling to the open ground

Just what is it that I haven’t done in
This life that has left me searching for what
I shall never find in my corner glint
Of hope as I find death within your smile
