Syriasly?

Just want to make my point of view clear as far as all the BS circulating over the possibility of US military involvement in Syria.  First, the civil war in Syria isn’t a threat to the US.  If they attack Israel?  Sure.  Right now it’s just a dictatorship vs a terrorist insurgency.  If we attack government forces in Syria, we’re aiding “Al Qaeda” and other terrorist groups.  The president himself absolutely set a red line on what would qualify the recalculation of his equation as far as how to deal with Syria.  The president, through the war powers act, is allowed to wage war for a period of 90 days without congressional approval.  That he’s going through the motions of gaining congressional approval is nothing more than politics meant to deflect his responsibility for the outcome of any action or in-action.

I supported the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan while the media and anti-war crowd read us all the riot act on a daily basis.  After 8 years (now 13 years) of continued war it’s safe to say that my eyes have been open for quite some time as to what should justify our involvement.  Everyone’s eyes should be open, and everyone should be shouting from the rooftops, calling their representatives, and demanding that Obama go back to sitting on his green thumb.  Many polls indicate a dearth of support for military involvement in Syria.  The American people don’t want this any more than they wanted Obamacare.  Russia and Iran are both ready to deal with the fight we are trying to pick, and it’s about time we all say ENOUGH.  To the silent media and acquiescent anti-war crowd that have apparently been drowned in a flood of hope and change, I say SHAME ON YOU ALL.

You are nothing more than hypocrites being lead from behind by a hypocrite, and I thank you for your vote… morons.
